As Nigel Slater says "Nothing takes the edge off a picnic like drinking wine or, worse, champagne, out of paper cups".

That's why Elly and Evie Pace started Life's a Picnic: they didn't just want to eat great picnic food and mess about in boats - they wanted 'luncheon hampers' that are classy, fun and totally individual. And everything else has followed on from there. Based in Bristol and Nailsworth, in the Cotswolds, they do all the sewing and leatherwork themselves, as well as sourcing the fabrics and hamper contents from all over the country.
